Remove Northeastern South Carolina History Trail Hurl Rock Park and the William Bartram Trail 20th Avenue S at Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach SC 29577 Overview: An unusual outcropping of dark rocks on the beach at Ocean Boulevard and 20th Avenue South in Myrtle Beach were cited by the 18th century naturalist William Bartram. Today the rocks have disappeared under the sand, although the site is noted by a historic marker.
