Site Description
Located on the east side of Highway 792, one mile north of Highway 917, near the rural communities of Bayboro and Finklea, the House of Eight Gables was built by local resident Quincy Graham about 1890. Unusually elaborate for a late 19th century Horry County farmhouse, the home features six fireplaces, and eight gables, which give it the name House of Eight Gables.
